An engineer by training (Master in Telecommunications Engineering (UPV-EHU, Bilbao) and Master of Science of Electrical & Computer Engineering (IIT, Chicago)) and a graduate in Transformative Social Economy and Social Entrepreneurship (Mondragon Unibertsitatea, Eskoriatza), he is passionate about science and languages. He is an advocate of engineering and technology with a conscience, and is in favor of inserting social justice and environmental perspectives into scientific and technological projects.
He has an extensive background participating in organizations and popular movements in favor of the Basque language, independence, occupation or environmentalism.
