I graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Audiovisuals in Bilbao. A few years later I went to the New York University for Social Research, Global Village, to train as a television producer.
I began my professional career as a photojournalist, ENG Electronic News Gathering, on TV3 Television of Catalonia. For six years I portrayed the political reality of the Basque Country, an experience that marked my vision of the profession and political life. I have a piece of video art that I made with the material “I wish you were here to see it”.
When private television channels were born, I joined the foundation of Antena 3TV as a trainer for the ENG teams and as a news producer. I worked for more than a decade making programs and events on political and social current affairs from Madrid.
I have attended annual international appointments to design and broadcast television programs, such as Promax in the United States and IBC in Europe. I have worked on projects in collaboration with television stations in other countries, RTL Germany and SIC Portugal.
